Artist Statement

My artworks are influenced by literature, folklore, nature, and the human condition. I work with symbolism, figures, faces, and fantastical creatures. Throughout my works, I explore the contrast of innocence and darkness that plays on the edge of every human story.

I want to connect the viewer to their own ability to find redemption and magic through that visual balance of light and darkness; perhaps imbuing the artworks with my own intentions of power for the viewer to incorporate within themselves.
